🧑‍🍳 How to keep your eggs at their best
Pointy side down. Store with the narrow end facing down. Keeps the air pocket at the top and the yolk centred, so eggs stay fresh longer.
No going back. Once you refrigerate an unwashed egg, keep it there. Cold eggs sweat at room temperature, which strips the bloom and pulls bacteria into the shell.
Wash just before cracking. Rinse the shell with warm water only, right before you cook. Washing earlier removes the natural protective coating.
